Brown Dog lets you create fun, unique products from your photographs on a range of great products that include t-shirts, mugs, coasters, holiday ornaments, ceramic tiles and hundreds of other great items, all custom-made and printed in the USA.
We love our families including our pets and so do our customers.
You are able to place orders 7 days a week, 24 hours a day through our easy to navigate and secure website. Q. What type of printing does Brown Dog Do?
A. We perform dye sublimation printing and offer screen printing services. Click here to view examples.
Q. What is dye sublimation printing?
A. Sublimation is a method of applying a photographic image to items such as coffee mugs, polyester shirts, holiday ornaments and hundreds of other products.
Q. Are you able to sublimate on a dark or black shirt?
A. No we can not. The dye sublimation printing requires a light colored or white shirt for best image reproduction. Since there is no white ink the color of the fabric will show through.
Q. What type of photo image works the best?
A. We recommend that photos be at least 300 dpi or greater for best print resolution.
Q. What type of file can Brown Dog accept?
A. The files that work the best are JPG, BMP, GIF or PNG. We also accept work in either Coreldraw or Photoshop formats.
Q. How long does it take once I have placed my order for photo printing?
A. Depending on the number of orders we have in house on average your order should take about 10 days to complete once we receive final approval on your design.
Q. How long does it take for screen printed items?
A. Again, depending on the number of orders we have in house on average about 10 days once we have final approval.
Q. I have a unique company logo that I want embroidered, can you do that?
A. Yes we can, as long as you have permission to use the logo we have the capability. We are able to digitize your image to work with our equipment or for others. For digitizing service we charge a $30.00 minimum fee. If the logo is intricate or has multiple colors there may be a greater charge, all of which will be discussed before work begins. If you would like to have your digitized file in hand we can load it to a CD for a $10.00 charge.
Q. I need someone to do design work, are you able to help me?
A. We offer design work for our custom printing and embroidery services. We charge a fee of $60.00 per hour for that service. If you would like to have your design in hand we can load it to a CD for a $10.00 charge.
